With our over 30 years of combined experience, we have created and officiated at over 2,000 wedding ceremonies throughout the greater Ottawa Region. For years, we have been the first choice recommendation as officiants by most leading Ottawa wedding Industry professionals (wedding planners, photographers, videographers and ceremony venues, DJ's) due to our unique officiation style for having delivered the most enjoyable wedding cermony experience that attendees have ever experienced in their lives. This status was formally recognized when we were selected as the very first recipients of the Ottawa Wedding Professionals Award for Best Officiants. Considering that there are over 1,250 licensed wedding officiants in the Ottawa area, this is a rare honour for which to have been bestowed. We have been registered wedding officiants since 2004, licensed under the Marriage Act by the Registrar General of the Province of Ontario having been ordained, as a lay chaplain and as a minister, respectively. Just as you are familiar with other professionals who specialize in one particular area, we are specialists in that our sole focus is the design and celebration of highly enjoyable and memorable ceremonies. Lynne is a perfectly bilingual retired high school teacher, originally from Northern Ontario, who was Head of the French Department at St. Paul and Sacred Heart Catholic High Schools in Ottawa for a number of years. Her teaching experience really shows as she has a flair for focusing the attentions of assembled groups of all ages towards a common purpose. As her many testimonials attest, she is excels at conducting civil, spiritual, or non-denominational ceremonies. Lynne conveys a relaxed confidence that brings a unified dignity to each ceremony that she performs. Her outgoing friendly upbeat manner will make your wedding an inclusive event for all of your family and guests. A mother of three, all of whom have finished their post-secondary studies, Lynne exudes warmth and graciousness in all of her activity. Lynne graduated from Queen's University with a B.A. and B.Ed. Keith is a former federal executive and originally from Nova Scotia. As a senior process design consultant and meeting facilitator in Ottawa, he brought people together professionally for over 25 years to focus upon common objectives, most recently with the Conference Board of Canada. While with OCRI (now Invest Ottawa), he was the creative force behind some of Ottawa's most successful community creation initiatives of which he was co-founder, e.g. Zone5ive, Tech Rocks, The 45th Circuit, Spotlight, and the TEB. Keith is an engaging officiant who is in high demand by couples whose vision for their ceremony incorporates innovation with tradition. His extensive experience and relaxed style provides a reassuring presence and confidence throughout the wedding ceremony that puts everyone at ease. He works with couples to personalize and build their humour into each ceremony in a warm, friendly manner to ensure a truly memorable occasion for you, your families, and guests. Keith has earned a BA from Carleton University and a MBA from the Queen's University Smith School of Business. Keith's attention for detail exemplifies professionalism in making your wedding day of vision come true. We have each been actively involved over the years in a number of community development and charitable initiatives, including Scouts Canada and Friends of the Hospice. Working regularly at the Stittsville Food Bank has been one of our activities for over 20 years. We have also been extensively involved in theatrical productions for many years, culminating with the acclaimed presentations of the semi-professional GOYA Theatre at Centrepointe Theatre each year. From this theatrical experience, we have borrowed many of the innovative principles which we have introduced to the weddings at which we officiate. The freshness that this brings to ceremonies have been universally applauded by the ceremony attendees as well as the wedding couples themselves.
