Here is a simple description about the four Signature wedding ceremony levels that we offer as well as the locations and times for which we are available. Please note that while a custom personalized ceremony is core to each of these levels, the amount of individual services increases with each level.

Platinum Ceremony - For Those Couples Who Want a Completely Customized Arrangement:
From $2000:

Ultra-premium Customized Ceremony Consultation and Development Services including all of the Gold Ceremony elements, plus :

• Option to have all meetings held in your choice of location;

• Conduct of One Hour Rehearsal;
• Guaranteed Rehearsal Time on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday Morning, Afternoon, or Evening prior to your ceremony date;

Gold Ceremony: Our Most Popular Signature Ceremony Level
$1000  (= $885 + $115 HST)

All of the Silver Ceremony elements, plus

• professionally led one hour Rehearsal in Ottawa on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon or evening or Friday morning prior to the ceremony;
• greatest degree of script personalization and customization;
• Supervision and execution of your wedding processional and recession to our exacting standards;
• Most suitable for ceremonies with a wedding party of six or more or greater than 75 guests.

Silver Ceremony: Most of the Gold level benefits, except for the rehearsal
$800    (= $664 + $86 HST)   

All of the Bronze Ceremony elements, plus

• In-Person Private One Hour Pre-Wedding Planning Meeting via Google Meet one month prior to the ceremony;
• Greater degree of script personalization and customization;
• Detailed consultation and briefing about the wedding processional and recession;
• More suitable for ceremonies with 40-75 guests with a small wedding party;
  Available anytime of year in the Ottawa area

Bronze Ceremony: This is so much better than any other officiants "usual best ceremony"
$650   (= $575 + $75 HST)      

• Unlimited Email and Phone Communication;
• In-Person Private One Hour Consultation via Google Meet;
• Development of Custom and Personalized Ceremony Script;
• Use of the most comprehensive and innovative ceremony script resources available anywhere
• Expert performance of your Ceremony by either Lynne or Keith;
• Personal Touch throughout the entire wedding planning process;
• Most suitable for ceremonies with up to 50 guests.
• Peace of Mind about your ceremony
  Available anytime of year in Ontario (except during Saturdays during 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM - May through October).
  If your ceremony is occuring within four months from now during the 3:00-6:00 PM period, do ask as we may have some openings then for which this package will be available)

Starting rates listed here are for weekend rates (Friday 2:00 PM to Sunday) for ceremonies held in the Ottawa area. Peak demand dates e.g. New Year's Eve, etc. are at the same rate with absolutely no surcharges or premiums. Each of these ceremony levels will achieve the "Best wedding ceremony that I've ever attended in my life!" result and comments by wedding guests for which Lynne and Keith are renown throughout the entire Ottawa region. These rates do not include the cost of the Ontario marriage license for which only you can apply.

Please note that all private consultations and planning meetings are via Google Meet ot Teams, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during daytimes and Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 6:00 or 7:30 PM in the evening. If our schedules permit, these meetings may be held in another location, however a $100 fee applies for the additional hour of our time and car operation going to and from the external location.

We provide our officiant services in an informed, ethical, and legally sound manner. We do not offer you a standard formula one size fits all McWedding - we make your experience of tieing the knot, easy, romantic, personal, creative, and fun, for you and your guests!

You might be quoted slightly less elsewhere, however no other officiants in the Ottawa area come close to offering better personal service, innovation, and value for your money than we do.

We offer a premium service for our clients and due to the significantly higher level of service we offer, the extra number of hours we work on your behalf, and the limited number of engagements we accept, our fees are often slightly higher than those of most other Ottawa officiants (but not always). For every ceremony we perform, there are usually another 10-15 additional hours of further time and expertise invested in achieving such a memorable result.

Being a small, home-based operation, we are not equipped to respond to a high volume of enquiries looking mainly for the lowest price (other than elopements and very small ceremonies) but rather a limited number of serious enquiries from couples who really appreciate and want excellence, experience, innovation, and peace of mind for their wedding ceremony.

If finding the lowest priced officiant available is more important to you than having you and your guests experiencing an exceptionally romantic, moving, and creative wedding service, then there are so many other Ottawa officiants who are likely a better fit for your ceremony priorities and expectations. We openly publish our fees and the rationale for them.

While our fees are higher for some ceremonies than other officiants who usually offer only basic services, that relatively small difference (usually about only $200-$300) definitely provides you a very high return on your investment. The qualitative increase is measurable. Moreover, we can also point out ways in which you can save substantially on many of your other expenses so that by engaging us, you can actually reduce the overall cost of your wedding. Think about it - a superior wedding experience at a lower cost! For about the extra cost of only a few bottles of banquet wine, you can ensure that you and your guests experience a wedding ceremony with an unmatched level of service and innovation.

Our services to each wedding couple, for ceremonies other than elopements, always consists of four or more of the following elements :

An Interview Consultation Session. This initial hour long discussion is usually undertaken by Skype/Google Meet (as long as the Pandemic measures are in place) during which you and we mutually establish if we are the right officiants to help you achieve your wedding vision. This hour long session enables you to more fully discuss your ceremony after which we will convey to you, everything we can do and how we can do it for you. This consultation service is provided to you without any further obligation.

A Planning Session. This hour long discussion is usually held by Skype/Google Meet (as long as the Pandemic measures are in place) about a month before the ceremony and it allows us both to go through your ceremony together in full detail including the procession, transitional elements during the ceremony, and the recession. This is where the fine tuning and tweaking occur to get your ceremony just right for the two of you.

Ongoing Consultation by telephone, our website, and e-mail regarding the ceremony script and other wedding considerations drawing upon our extensive experience base.

A Rehearsal Session. Typically an hour long, your rehearsal session will have you and your wedding party projecting poise and confidence throughout your wedding ceremony. We are the most experienced wedding rehearsal specialists in Ottawa and likely conduct more than all other civil officiants in Ottawa combined! Our rehearsal sessions ensure peace of mind for everyone, especially all wedding party members and parents.

The Administrative Session. Every wedding requires about 30 minutes of preparation of the legal documentation prior to the marriage ceremony. This is actually the foundation of meeting the requirements for a legal marriage. This session then substantially reduces the actual time required for signatures during ceremony itself. After the conclusion of the ceremony, all documentation is promptly filed with the Registrar General of Ontario. Additionally, as part of this administrative session, For Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze level ceremonies, we prepare for you at no further charge, a customized and personalized Certificate of Marriage to be used for photographic purposes during the signing and which also serves as an elegant souvenir of your wedding ceremony.

The Wedding Ceremony. Your wedding ceremony will be completely unique and distinctive from any other ceremony you, your family, or your friends have ever attended before. It will convey all the right emotions and tones to make it a spectacular success.

Some couples do not require all six elements while others may require even additional assistance. Essentially, the primary difference between each of the ceremony base packages below is the additional time and expense required by us to help you coordinate the achievement of your vision for your ceremony. All base ceremony levels include a total of 100 km/one hour of travel to and from the ceremony. As the quality and creativity of the wedding ceremonies we are performing far exceeds the level most couples expect or have ever seen anywhere, we have bundled several core packages of services together that offer outstanding value, especially when compared to the basic services available from most officiants in the Ottawa area.

Due to the consistently heavy demand on Saturdays for our services inside the immediate Ottawa area, we are only accepting Saturday bookings for venues outside of this zone for our ultra premium Platinum Ceremonies. On Mondays to Fridays, we will continue to be available for Platinum, Gold, and Silver Level Ceremonies held in more distant locations e.g. Perth, Brockville, Calabogie Peaks, Kingston, etc.

The following officiation fees are for ceremonies booked in the greater Ottawa region during 2025-26. The rates listed here are our usual weekend rates (Friday noon to Sunday). Peak demand dates e.g. Valentines Day, statutory public holidays, New Year's Eve, etc. are at the regular Saturday rate with absolutely no surcharges or premiums (some officiants raise their rates by 50% and more at these times!).

Our Bronze Wedding Level is $650   and the Bronze is great for couples who just want a small ceremony (about 50 guests or less). Bronze ceremonies are available throughout the day and evening Monday (except long weekends) to Friday and before 3:00 PM on Saturdays for ceremonies held in Ontario. Although the Bronze ceremony level is not usually available in 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM period during May to October, if your ceremony is occuring within four months from now during the 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM period, do ask as we may have some openings available.

This economical option includes one Google Meet consultation meeting, an extensive draft ceremony script for your personalization, ongoing telephone and e-mail consultation, access to our knowledge and experience base, officiation of your ceremony, and preparation and filing of all the legal documentation. The Bronze Level also includes travel up to a total of 100 km/one hour of travel from our Stittsville residence to and from the ceremony site.

Our Silver Wedding Level is $750    is a popular service level chosen for early afternoon & evening ceremonies held in Ontario and it includes all of the Bronze level components and even more. It is for couples who want more extensive live consultation with one additional hour long planning meeting prior to the ceremony, a more personalized ceremony script, and regular Q&A dialogue by phone or email. This Silver Ceremony Level is ideal for the medium-sized ceremony with 40 to 100 guests attending.

With this Silver Level, we will advise you as to how to conduct your wedding rehearsal, should you wish to do so yourselves. The Silver Level also includes travel up to a total of 100 km/one hour of travel from our Stittsville residence to and from the ceremony site.

Our Platinum Wedding Level is a custom bundle designed for Brides and Grooms who want the very best and require ultra premium services that go beyond those of our Gold service level. With the Platinum level, your ceremony is the only one Lynne or Keith will book for that day.

Clients requesting this Platinum level often are holding their Saturday ceremony well beyond the Ottawa area; e.g. Perth, Kingston, Pembroke, Brockville, Calabogie, etc. Or, they might require their officiant to stay an extended time as the ceremony is held on a boat, an island or hot air balloon. Others may specifically want both of us to perform their ceremony together or have both present to ensure an on-site back-up officiant or as a cover for a surprise wedding. Regardless of the specific circumstances, we are flexible and can provide a quote for a custom requirement. And yes, we are open to performing ceremonies anywhere in the world, especially in the Caribbean during the winter!

With this level, you have priority scheduling for guaranteeing a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday morning, afternoon or evening rehearsal.

This Platinum level also provides for additional consultations with wedding planners, photographers, videographers, and musicians, as required.

We acknowledge that everyone’s needs are different. For this reason we provide a-la-carte offerings that allow our clients to make decisions that will match their needs and wants perfectly. We feel it unnecessary to dictate specific packages to our clientele, therefore offering you more possibilities in your choices. Via our one on one consultations, we encourage our clients to tell us their needs so that we can create tailored bundle to match.

Our Co-Officiated Wedding Options start at $400 and it is great for couples who want a friend, a family member, or an out of province clergy member without legal status in Ontario to perform their ceremony. This option includes at least one Skype/Google Meet consultation meeting, a draft ceremony script for your personalization, ongoing telephone and e-mail consultation, access to our knowledge and experience base, and preparation and filing of all the legal documentation. Co-officiated ceremonies are available at anytime for our Silver, Gold and Platinum Levels. The Co-officiated Option can also be also be upgraded to include a rehearsal and some options include travel up to a total of 100 km/one hour of travel from our Stitttsville residence to and from the rehearsal site.

Extras: While the above and our Elopement offerings cover off most ceremony requirements, experience has proven that a very small number of weddings do require additional time or costs.

This web site explains everything that we do for you in complete detail. And, as any couple with whom we've worked will tell you, the actual experience of our ceremonies clearly exceeds what this web site conveys. In other words, if you like what you've been reading so far, it's only going to get better.

We will not book more than one other wedding ceremony on the same afternoon as yours and that each will be more than properly sequenced to ensure that you get the full attention and focus you deserve during your ceremony.

Your ceremony date and time are locked out from anyone else's consideration from the moment you set your interview up with us. And it remains reserved up to the time of the interview and for 3 days thereafter. No one can take your date away from you while you are awaiting your interview with us. And you have three days afterwards to interview anyone else if you so choose.

We process all of our reservations directly ourselves (no middleman) and a retainer payment of $200 is required to complete the booking process (all but $100 is refundable up to eight months before the ceremony).The balance (cash or cheque) is due, usually at the planning session or at least 2 months prior to your ceremony.

We also offer family members and friends of couples, the opportunity to engage our services as a gift to the lucky couple so that they can then direct their remaining resources to other priority items.

2025 Wedding Ceremonies

We still have a number of dates and times available throughout the wedding season. Now is a good time to line up your officiant so as to avoid disappointment and having to settle for whomever is available.

2026 Wedding Ceremonies

We are scaling back our officiating activity significantly in 2026 and will only be taking on a limited number of English ceremonies. French and bilingual ceremonies will be available primarily on Saturdays and Sundays and long weekends, except during July 1st-26th, 2026.

Couples considering 2026 dates are advised to line up their major vendors, including officiant, as soon as they can, if they want the best. Otherwise, you risk having to choose from whomever is merely available. We are now booking into December 2026.

Please contact us as early as possible, to determine our availability as most couples are booking dates 8 to 18 months in advance and it is now that you will have the best selection of dates and times.
